Background and objectives
PlusCity’s building management system needs to inform visitors about last-minute disruptions — such as a broken elevator, an escalator undergoing maintenance, restroom cleaning or temporary closures. Traditional printouts or analog signage had to be created, printed and replaced each time. This process is time-consuming, and analog signage does not attract as much attention as digital solutions.
PlusCity’s goal was to integrate a mobile solution that is immediately available on-site, can be updated in minutes and still looks professional.
Solution
FRAMR. Portable addresses the challenges faced by PlusCity: a mobile digital customer display on wheels that can be easily moved to wherever information is needed. The content can be updated remotely and in real time. Thanks to the design flexibility offered by over 50 modules, the communication is more visually appealing and reflects the modern character of PlusCity.
Technical Challenge
The deployment location cannot be planned in advance (incidents occur spontaneously), so the device had to be battery-powered, weatherproof and ready for immediate use without the need for cable installation. The technical features of the customer stopper meet these requirements with a battery life of 16 hours, IP65 protection (dustproof and moisture-resistant), and a wheel mount for easy relocation.
