Case Study – Internorm
Initial situation
Internorm is Europe’s most widely produced window brand, with 1,300 retail partners in 21 countries. Existing signage solutions at the dealers’ locations could not be controlled uniformly—Internorm wanted to manage screens at Austrian dealers centrally from its headquarters, rather than having each dealer maintain content independently. Additionally, the showrooms lacked a way to make product simulations tangible for customers. Based on this, Internorm defined its objectives and contacted us.
Solution
Internorm switched from another provider to FRAMR. — and we installed 45 portrait-format display stands at all of its premium Austrian retailers to ensure consistent customer communication. From its headquarters, Internorm can update the content for all displays and stands – simultaneously, centrally, individually and in real time.
In the showrooms, customers also find interactive displays that Internorm uses to demonstrate the quality of its windows. For example, heat lamps and cooling units are placed behind the windows to demonstrate thermal insulation. These simulations are controlled via FRAMR. displays, which also show temperature differences using FRAMR. sensors. Another way to interact is to play selected sound files from the display through speakers behind the window, allowing customers to experience the windows’ sound insulation firsthand.
Technical challenge
The primary challenge was to uniformly manage 45 locations centrally, while accommodating the varying local needs of each retail partner. With FRAMR., this poses no problem, as it enables cross-location communication for up to 100 displays simultaneously.
