Why we at FRAMR. are committed to European infrastructure

Since the Schrems II verdict, it has been legally clear that U.S. providers cannot be fully subject to European data protection law. Given the ruling and the geopolitical situation, there is greater uncertainty among mid-sized buyers, which also reinforces their distrust of the Cloud Act.

For these reasons, we at FRAMR. rely on digital signage solutions made and hosted in Europe. Below, we explain the benefits for our customers.

What “Made in Europe/Hosted in Europe” means for FRAMR. Signage

In our case, the “Made in Europe” seal covers the location of Austria as the base for the entire infrastructure: CMS, data storage product/hardware, customer service and cloud. There is no U.S. corporation in the background through which data is collected and stored. This is where we distinguish ourselves from providers who merely have their servers in Europe.

And companies that are wary of U.S. data collection should pay close attention to this very aspect: In some cases, “Made in Europe” does not reflect true sovereignty but is marketing rhetoric. Many tout their GDPR compliance but can’t guarantee it.

The Benefits for Our Customers

Legal Certainty

Using a European infrastructure eliminates the risk associated with the Cloud Act, as U.S. law does not apply. This ensures GDPR compliance.

Planning certainty

No unilateral price increases, no product discontinuations and no lock-in by a corporation whose priorities shift with the next election. Partners with European infrastructure are subject to the same economic and legal conditions as your customers.

In-house support

At FRAMR., development, support and maintenance are handled entirely in-house without reliance on outsourced third parties or external corporate structures. This ensures that technical responsibility, communication and expertise remain within the same European infrastructure. This approach facilitates rapid coordination, greater transparency and the availability of reliable long-term points of contact.
