Case Study – Salzwelten Hallein

Initial situation

The Salzwelten Hallein welcomes visitors of all ages who navigate between indoor and outdoor areas — bus departure times, tour start times and other information needed to be communicated reliably. At the same time, it had to be possible to update relevant information at any time.

The goal was to design the visitor experience and information in such a way that historical content comes to life and is accessible to all age groups, while also providing reliable logistical information (departures, tours) that can be updated at any time.

Solution

FRAMR. Player PRO controls displays in both indoor and outdoor areas for bus departure times, tour times and other visitor information, as well as digital presentations of the mine’s history. The Salzwelten Hallein team can adjust content in real time and respond quickly to changes. Thanks to the strategically placed displays, visitors can also be effectively guided.

Result

Visitors no longer miss departures or tour start times and historical content is presented as an immersive experience — with the ability to adjust content at any time and without the lengthy and costly process associated with print media.
