Company and initial situation
Attensam is the market leader in the areas of home maintenance and winter services in Austria and can look back on a 40-year success story with 1,500+ employees at 22 locations.
However, companies with many employees face the challenge that they find it difficult to establish transparent communication structures. As a result, important information does not reach all employees. This is why FRAMR. is working with Attensam on digital signage projects to provide an adequate solution.
Attensam also uses digital signage solutions to find new employees and strengthen employer branding by publishing job advertisements and better integrating employees into the communication loop.
Solution approach
To promote internal communication, displays with FRAMR. Pro players were placed in the break rooms of the various locations. The choice of display location had strategic reasons, as the break rooms are the central meeting point for employees and the displays are within sight. Employees are thus effectively integrated into the flow of information and no longer miss any important news. However, the displays are not intrusive or disruptive.
Attensam uses the Staffbase channel, a kind of intranet for internal communication, to communicate information. FRAMR. enables the integration of Staffbase as a module with freely configurable content and design options. The module provides employees with important information on changes, benefits, upcoming events or the latest news.
The application can also be used to publish job advertisements. Recruiting via Staffbase gives employees the option of changing jobs internally, which means that know-how is not lost and fluctuation rates remain low. Digital signage therefore also has a leverage effect with efficiency benefits for companies.
Communication via Staffbase also has advantages for employer branding. Attensam uses the displays to communicate important employee benefits and actively involves employees in the communication loop. The combination of a transparent flow of information and visually appealing content (videos, images) strengthens the brand and the trust of employees.
A team from the head office is responsible for designing and planning the content. It manages the content for all displays and plays the Staffbase channel. Among other things, digital signage makes it possible to adapt content in real time and thus quickly communicate important information, for example on operational disruptions and outages or hygiene regulations. Management by a team has various advantages, including the fact that training phases are kept short and there is more control.
